where it's made
Like all Holland Cox products, the handbags are handmade in Alexandria, Virginia, just a few miles outside of Washington DC.

how it's made
Giant polka dots are hand painted on natural canvas in blue, purple and gold. In contrast, the back of the bag is made with dark denim with gold metallic threads, and includes a zippered pocket. The bag is fully lined in diamond-quilted black cotton, with a second interior patch pocket.

The strap is made from the same fabric as the back, and is finished with gold tone hardware. Both heavy duty brass zipper closures are finished with an ultrasuede zip pull, with a hand painted bead on the main zipper. 

Layers of interlining and double stitching throughout make the crossbody bag sturdy enough for daily use, but not heavy or cumbersome to carry.
